Born on May 1, 1968 in Bordeaux, France, Alain Laboile is a photographer and father of six. In 2004, as he needed to put together a portfolio of his work as a sculptor, he acquired a camera, and thus developed a taste for macrophotography, spurred by his passion for entomology. Later on, he pointed his lens towards his growing family which became his major subject in a realistic depiction of their atypical lifestyle. Alain Laboile's work has since been exhibited around the world and he just published a book with Kehrer Verlag: At the Edge of the World.

Bedelgeuse is an anatomical collage artist. All of the source material used comes from old science and medical books that are in the public domain. He makes both physical cut paper and digital collages that form into a wild amalgamation of botanical, zoological, and anatomical imagery. These compositions produce synergetic visuals that represent humanity’s inherent relationship to nature. Bedelgeuse’s upcoming solo show in San Francisco, “Internal - Eternal” is a visual representation of wellness, unconditional love, and personal growth.

Sturchio resides in Portland, Maine. She studied photography & art history at Maine College of Art where she received her BFA in 2012. Sturchio grew up in various parts of Maine, experiencing both the business of the city and the rural outdoors. Sturchio identifies as a queer artist with interests in social systems, sexuality, and identity. Sturchio draws connections between fragility and impermanence from her experiences with cerebral palsy and disease. Sturchio was featured in publications such as Creative Quarterly, received a Good Idea Grant (2012) and an Artists Project Grant (2015) by the Maine Arts Commission.

Gergely Szatmári is a Hungarian photographer. In early works he was engaged with commercial photography and fashion. Starting in 2006 his activity turned towards his own themes, such as presenting and criticizing the values of civilized society. His photographic attitude and scenes are diverse and complex. He has exhibited his photographs all over Europe and in the US.

Toronto-born and now Brooklyn-based, Willis' goal is to capture women’s strength and sexuality through textiles. Through the eye of the needle, she aims to explore the art of undressing, movement, and sensuality; to tempt the viewer to follow the delicate stitching that caresses the bodies she reveals through thread. Works are hand stitched, with leather appliques painted with acrylics, to create texture and depth.

Nicholas Hughes is a UK based artist engaged in conceptual landscape practice – completing his studies within a short walking radius of his home, thereby restricting his impact upon the environment. Work has been exhibited widely, regularly published and is held in public collections including the V&A Museum, London and MFA, Houston. He is currently engaged in the production of ‘Nowhere Far’ to be published in 2017 and an abstract landscape show at the Nailya Alexander Gallery, NYC this summer. Paul Mpagi Sepuya (1982, San Bernardino, CA) is based in Los Angeles, and previously lived and worked in New York from 2000–2014. Sepuya’s work is in the collection of the Guggenheim Museum, the Studio Museum in Harlem, and the Center for Photography at Woodstock. Sepuya’s work will featured in storefront: PUBLIC FICTION at The Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles in May through June. He is a 2016 MFA candidate at UCLA.

Ryota Matsumoto is a principal of an award-winning interdisciplinary design office, Ryota Matsumoto Studio based in Tokyo. He is an artist, designer and urban planner. Born in Tokyo, Ryota was raised in Hong Kong and Japan. He received Master of Architecture from University of Pennsylvania in 2007 after studying at Architectural Association in London and Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow School of Art in early 90’s. His art and design work are featured in numerous publications and exhibitions internationally. His current interest gravitates around the embodiment of cultural possibilities in art, architecture, and urban topography.

Stanley Bloom was born in 1987 in Versailles and works in Paris as a freelancer. Photography has always been a deep passion and graphic design the complement and a great influence for his aesthetic vision. As an image maker and storyteller, his sensual visual language depicts the beauty hidden in everyday life, but the true subject that remains in his work is light. He created and currently curates a new contemporary photography platform called Velvet Eyes. He is also part of neo-soul trio Pacific Shore, using his photographic memory mind to compose the original soundtrack of his visions.

Ute Behrend is a German photographer and video artist based in Cologne, Germany. After studying photography, she published her first book, Girls, Some Boys and Other Cookies, with Scalo Publishers in Zürich. Her work primarily concentrates on pairs of images and book concepts. Moreover, Ute Behrend published the following books: Märchen/ Fairy Tales, 2005 with Walter König, Zimmerpflanzen with Snoeck and The Last Year of Childhood by Powershoovel in Tokio. In addition to her artist projects, she works as an assistant professor of photography at the Academy for Communication and Design in Cologne.

Will Harris was born in Philadelphia in 1990. He holds a BFA in photography from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Will currently resides in New Jersey.
