Colton Brock
Colton Brock is a native Phoenician. With one grandfather born in Buckeye, AZ (1932), and the other born in Clifton, AZ (1921), he takes on a natural affinity for urban history and spirit, evident in his paintings. Although much of his visual work is directly or indirectly inspired by his native Southwest, Brock spends time traveling, documenting the various cities he visits, interpreting their more localized character and moods through his work by utilizing color, compositions and unusual vantage points set to better represent personal feelings, physical eyesight and/or memory.
